About the RHS
The Royal Horticultural Society was founded in 1804 by Sir Joseph Banks and John Wedgwood to inspire passion and excellence in horticulture science, art, and practice. Our vision is to enrich everyone’s life through plants and make the world a greener, healthier, happier and more beautiful place. We believe everyone in every village, town and city should benefit from growing plants to enhance lives, build stronger, healthier, happier communities and create better places to live. We held our first flower shows in 1820, were granted a Royal Charter in 1861 and acquired RHS Garden Wisley, our flagship garden, in 1903. From our first meetings in a small room off London’s Piccadilly, we have grown to become the world’s largest gardening charity.
RHS endorses organic based lawncare products from Viano!
The Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) has announced its endorsement of a range of environmentally friendly fertiliser products, manufactured by Viano in Belgium.
The RHS-endorsed products are available from September 2017.
The RHS logo will be given a prominent position on the front and back of the Viano packaging. The main market for these products is the domestic lawn owner, although some bowling and cricket cubs use them on their greens and wickets. Viano products will be available from garden centres, as well as lawn contractors who want to offer an alternative to chemical treatments. Viano is very proud to be able to carry the RHS logo on their products. “We believe that, like us, the general public holds the RHS in very high esteem and respond positively to products that carry their endorsement.”
“All RHS-endorsed products have to meet very high standards but especially environmentally friendly gardening products. These Viano products are both effective and environmentally safe. We are delighted to offer our endorsement to them.”
